Spire takes on fresh new GFORCE look

Private healthcare group Spire Healthcare has adopted a contemporary new image for its physiotherapists, using GFORCE by Gymphlex to deliver bespoke corporate polo shirts.

These new garments are manufactured in a technically advanced fabric called Eyedroplet in the organisation’s colours of charcoal grey and pale blue with white piping.

This new uniform is part of an image overhaul by the organisation, moving away from tunics to the professional comfort of polo shirts, while upholding the brand identity and supporting physiotherapy staff in carrying out their daily duties.

The shirts are initially being introduced in four of the 49 Spire sites around the UK, with plans to roll out the garments to all physiotherapy staff over the next two years.

David Jackson, buyer at Spire Healthcare, has masterminded the rollout of the company’s new image.

“Our Physiotherapy Division has recently gone through a rebranding process in order to improve our offering for the elite sporting market,” he explains.

“Part of this was the development of a new name, Perform, and the creation of a new image specifically for the physiotherapy staff.

“Our partnership with Gymphlex enabled us to use the GFORCE product range to create our own bespoke polo shirt to reflect this new brand.”

Spire Healthcare is a leading provider of private healthcare, built on a proud heritage of over 25 years’ experience of running successful private hospitals.

The company was formed from the sale of BUPA Hospitals to Cineven in 2007, followed by the purchase of Classic Hospitals and Thames Valley Hospital in 2008.

Nationwide, Spire Healthcare treats over 930,000 patients per year.
