
It will take place on May 26, 27 and 28, bringing together 60 young soccer players aged 9 to 16 who are trained by the club’s coaches.
In June and July, additional camps will be held in various parts of the world, including Poland, Italy, Sweden, North Macedonia, the United States, and Argentina.
Real Betis Balompié continues to strengthen its international presence through the Real Betis Academy with the launch of a new training camp in Sheffield (United Kingdom), an initiative that will introduce young British soccer players to the club’s methodology.
The camp, which will take place over three days (May 26, 27, and 28) at Sheffield University’s sports facilities, will feature up to 60 boys and girls born between 2010 and 2017, who will have the opportunity to train under Real Betis Balompié’s official methodology under the guidance of coaches traveling from Seville.
Santiago González and Manuel Domínguez, coaches from the Club, will lead the on-field training sessions, where participants will be able to improve their athletic performance through specific technical and tactical drills and activities designed according to the Verdiblanco training model.
Training experience and personalized assessment
The main objective of this camp is to offer young soccer players an intensive training experience based on the values and methodology of Real Betis, fostering both athletic growth and personal development.
During training sessions, players will be individually evaluated by the Club’s coaches, who will analyze technical, tactical, and physical aspects with the goal of enhancing each participant’s talent.
In addition to on-field sessions, the camp will allow participants to experience firsthand the dynamics of a professional youth academy, promoting values such as teamwork, effort, discipline, and respect.
Real Betis Academy’s International Expansion
The launch of this new training camp in the United Kingdom is part of Real Betis Academy’s international expansion strategy, through which the club continues to extend its training methodology to different countries and consolidate its presence in markets that are strategic for the development of youth soccer.
Through initiatives like this, Real Betis Balompié continues to strengthen its international network of training programs and bring its educational and sports model to young soccer players around the world. In this regard, additional camps will be held in June and July in various parts of the world, including Warsaw (Poland), the Aosta Valley (Italy), Markaryd and Malmö (Sweden), Kumanovo (North Macedonia), Houston (USA), and Santa Fe (Argentina).
