Swim specialist Aqua Sphere has confirmed it will once again be donating its award winning Kayenne goggles to the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court in Epsom.
The DMRC provides high quality rehabilitation for injured personnel from all service disciplines, including physical and psychological nursing support to assist them in achieving maximum independence.
Tim Clark, pool manager at Headley Court, says: “We very much appreciate this type of support.
“Patients are always asking for goggles and as a swimming teacher/coach and a current serving member of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Reserves, I know how much benefit these goggles provide.
“In addition, next year myself and several members of staff plus patients are taking part in the Ironman UK triathlon with Team True Spirit and the Kayenne will be an essential piece of our kit for training in the pool and racing in open water.”
