ASICS has been named ‘Best Overall Brand’ in the Running Fitness Awards 2012 organised by Running Fitness magazine.
Its Gel-Nimbus 14 also won ‘Best Neutral Shoe’, while the Gel-Tarther 2 took the ‘Best Racer’ prize.
Award winners are selected from a shortlist of nominations that are reviewed and rated by the Running Fitness editorial team.
Readers are then invited to visit the magazine’s website to vote for their favourite products. Over 1,500 votes were cast during the nomination period.
“The standard of products in the UK shoe running market is extremely high and manufacturers consistently work hard to produce innovative shoes,” says David Castle, editor of Running Fitness.
“The fact that Running Fitness readers have voted ASICS best in class in several categories reflects the brand’s continued excellence in making shoes designed for a wide range of runners.”
