Adam Peaty has joined the swim brand in a two-year deal.
At this year’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow he missed out on a podium finish in the 200m breaststroke final by 0.15 of a second, before winning gold in the 100m breaststroke.
A second gold came in the 4×100 medley final.
Peaty’s medal haul at the Games also included a silver in the 50m breaststroke.
“I wore the Arena suits at the Commonwealth Games and they’re the best suits I’ve raced in, so I’m delighted to be partnering with Arena all the way through to the end of 2016,” he says.
According to Giuseppe Musciacchio, Arena’s general manager of brand development, Peaty is a great signing.
“His growth over the last two years has been phenomenal and he’s just 19, so we believe he has a great future at the highest levels of the sport,” Musciacchio adds.
“This new agreement is also part of a longer-term strategy of growing the business in the UK and following the successful partnership with Team England in Glasgow it signals another landmark in giving the brand further exposure.”
