Le Col and Haute Route announce global performance clothing partnership

Premium British cycling brand Le Col to partner with global multi-day cycling event company Haute Route with limited-edition performance clothing to complement their core cycling collection

As collaborations go, British cycle clothing manufacturer Le Col and multi-day amateur cycling events company Haute Route could not be a better match with their intertwined goals.

Not only do Le Col and Haute Route both allude to the climbing aspect of cycling with a nod to the history of the famous French roads but both also bring the pro peloton experience to the wider cycling community.

It’s natural that Haute Route has announced Le Col as a global partner providing a dedicated range of performance clothing for its series of events next year. Enriching each rider’s experience with Le Col’s apparel that is both technically advanced as well as tested and recommended by pro riders.

From 2020, a core range of performance clothing will be available to participants of the multi-day events, with a unique jersey for the three-day event participants along with special edition jerseys for those riding the Haute Route Alps and Haute Route Pyrenees and a unique personalised Aqua Zero jersey for participants who take part in the Double Crown (Haute Route Alps and Haute Route Pyrenees back to back).

Inspired by the Haute Route events all over the world, the jerseys’ designs will reflect the passion and challenge that cyclists get to taste during the best experiential cycling events on the planet. With performance clothing already proven in the pro peloton, the Le Col x Haute Route collaboration will match the diverse range of cycling events that the company will run next year and aims to perfectly compliment the essential demands a long day in the saddle brings.

Yanto Barker, founder of Le Col and former pro cyclist, said: “Haute Route is a global established cycling brand, recognised for organising the most prestigious multi-day amateur cycling events in the world, so it’s a natural fit for Le Col to bring our performance-orientated knowledge to the table. As Haute Route delivers a professional experience for amateur cyclists, they now have the performance clothing to match. This partnership will allow Le Col to solidify our offering as go-to technical cycling wear.”

Matt Holden, Haute Route CEO, said: “Haute Route will benefit from the strong anchoring of Le Col in the cycling world and its culture of performance. Thanks to this partnership, we will offer a high-value rider experience and products strongly linked to our audience. By combining our strengths, we are strongly convinced that Le Col and Haute Route will become stronger major players in the cycling world.”
