Polar Electro, the world leader in wearable sports and heart rate technology, has joined forces with LiveWell by Zurich (LiveWell), a leading health and wellbeing services provider, to offer both companies’ customers an exciting opportunity to support their healthy living journey.
The collaboration will initially start with six countries – Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the UK & Ireland and will expand to other countries in due course where Polar and LiveWell are present.
Polar is well known for its leading position in the wearable tech market, providing an array of products and services to help people achieve their exercise and fitness goals. LiveWell, an innovative digital engagement platform, built around a holistic approach, thus factoring in the four key pillars of physical, mental, social, and financial health, was first established by Zurich Insurance Group in 2020. Together, the two brands aim to help their communities take control of their own health and wellbeing.
By committing to health goals and engaging in healthy activities, LiveWell customers earn points to redeem rewards to celebrate their success – which now includes the purchase of Polar products at discounted prices. When setting a health goal, LiveWell users will also have the opportunity to download their Polar training data directly into the app.
LiveWell users will also receive personalised training, physical activity and sleep guidance from the market leading brand through their Polar devices and Polar Flow, as well as access to Polar’s inspiring and educational content helping them on their sport, health and wellbeing journeys.
In turn, Polar customers will have full access to the LiveWell app and receive guidance and tips for healthier living, providing them with the tools to improve their overall wellbeing. The app aims to give inspiration to help create healthy habits for the long term, with innovative health and fitness programmes to inspire Polar’s customers and help them better understand their own health and wellbeing.
Additionally, partnership activities including individual and group challenges are planned designed to add a fun element to the users’ wellness journey, as well as stimulate engagement and competition between users.
