Red Dragon, a global leader in darts innovation, has launched its first-ever Switch Points range across hero player and performance darts, representing the biggest evolution of its product range yet.
The interchangeable points coming to Red Dragon users enable full customisation. Switch Point allows players to instantly change the length, style, or grip of their dart points to adapt to different dartboards or throwing conditions, inspired by and built around the tour-spec setups used by Red Dragon’s biggest players, now powered by Switch Point technology.
Players can customise setups around their own preference, with darts much closer to pro-level setups used on stage. The universal compatibility means Red Dragon barrels now work with wider market interchangeable point systems, including Swiss Points and Quick Points.
The four new tour-spec releases include signature models from Red Dragon players Luke Humphries, Jonny Clayton and Gian van Veen – who already use Switch Point setups in competition – alongside Gerwyn Price. All of these products are crafted from 90% tungsten for ultimate balance.
The TX1 Pioneer SP has been developed with World Champion Luke Humphries. The torpedo shape means the weight sits forward to give a smooth, consistent release. The TX1 is one of the best-selling player darts in the range.
The Hiraeth SP product has been co-designed with Jonny Clayton and features his exact tour setup. The design – inspired by Welsh landscapes – has a raw, textured barrel that’s unlike anything else in the range.
The Blue Original SP from Gerwyn Price has been inspired by the Welshman’s tour-level setup with a Modified Razor Edge grip and blue colourway to give an unmistakable “Iceman” feel.
The GVV Tour Edition SP has been engineered for Gian van Veen’s fearless playing style and fast, aggressive throw. Coming in light at 21g, the dynamic diamond-coated grip is something different, featuring the exciting Silver Groove and Micro Ring technology.
Alongside the tour-spec products are three performance product releases. Amp Torpedo SP has a distinctive grip pattern with a black/blue finish that stands out. The Ascend is the clean, premium option in the core range, whilst the Recon comes in two barrel shapes – parallel and torpedo – providing a version for every grip preference.
The new Switch Point range is universally compatible with leading interchangeable point systems and includes total customisation, with performance built around individuality.
