Sport England Event – guest speakers confirmed

With the eagerly anticipated Sport England information day now just two days away, the FSPA has announced two further NGB guest speakers: The FA and Badminton England are to join The Golf Foundation in making the information day valuable to all who attend. Adding to the already impressive line up of guest speakers, the Warwickshire Golf & Country Club in the West Midlands will also play host to Sport England director Mike Diaper and two leading County Sports Partners (CSPs) in outlining the Sport England Strategy and the Sport Unlimited programme and how the industry can be involved.

County Sports Partners (CSPs) and National Governing Bodies (NGBs) are key delivery partners of Sport England’s various programmes and initiatives, which are designed to meet government targets of more people participating in sport. This event will enable delegates to gain an excellent insight into how CSPs/NGBs are currently working to deliver Sport England programmes, highlighting where commercial support and partnerships have successfully combined and where further support would enhance future delivery.

Open forum and Q&A sessions will provide FSPA members with opportunities to find out the various ways their companies can assist with and enhance programme delivery and increase participation in sport – the industry’s ultimate aim. This event is essential as it will equip delegates with vital information and ideas with which to prepare for meeting all 49 CSPs and NGBs in a follow-up networking workshop environment in early September. See agenda below.

Don’t miss this opportunity to find out how your company can be involved. There are still a limited number of delegate places available. To book your and your colleague(s) places free today, contact Milly Durrant on 02476 414 999 x 204 or email milly@sportsandplay.com.
