UP & RUNNING is taking running retail to the next level with the opening of a new store in Teddington this week and the grand opening on November 30.
This latest running hub in the capital is the culmination of 28 years of Up & Running stores across the country, and the fourth store in the London area.
At the heart of the Up & Running ethos is care and consideration for the running community. This latest venture will not only provide a retail opportunity for those runners, but will enable a lasting legacy with strong links. It will also allow Up & Running to provide a second-to-none service experience using the latest 3D Motion Metrics gait analysis system and it will also provide a Social Run Group suitable for any runner, the emphasis being on Social.
Having fostered, over many years, a strong working relationship with a number of global running brands, Up & Running can offer the best of running-related experiences to its customers. From testing out the very latest footwear and electronics to instore events with high-profile athletes, Up & Running is at the Heart of Running.
Up & Running already has well established stores in East Sheen and Surbiton and a flagship store that opened in Fleet Street in April 2019. Teddington will build on this and will become a centre of running excellence for the city.
From its early roots 28 years ago with one Yorkshire store, Up & Running set an unstoppable pace and driven by its founders Dennis & Gillian Macfarlane it decided never to compromise on its intention to deliver the best for its customers, the running community.

As well as a big presence at the annual National Running Show in Birmingham, Up & Running supports other community events including the Ealing Half Marathon, Chester marathon series, and Milton Keynes Marathon, to name a few.
