High performance and sustainable cycling teamwear brand, Presca Teamwear, will unveil the world’s most sustainable pro cycling kit at the London Bike Show.
The Presca Pro Range has been developed closely with Vitus Pro Cycling Team, powered by Brother UK.
Developed by top industry design experts and manufactured in the UK with an ethical supply chain, Presca delivers high performance garments with sustainable credentials.
The Team, led by triple Olympic Champion Ed Clancy, will be training and racing in teamwear created by Presca which incorporates recycled materials, including recycled plastic bottles and nylon (from repurposed fishing nets and other post-industrial nylon) with elastane for stretch, to generate speed and aerodynamic performance in the real world.
Peter Lillie, Presca co-founder, said: “We’re really excited to bring the new pro kit to the market. We are providing products which are of the highest quality and performance, with minimum impact on the environment.
”We will be unveiling the new pro-range at the London Bike Show, showing that performance and sustainability work hand-in-hand at the very highest levels of the sport.”
A key element of the range is the racing aero skinsuit, designed for speed and ultimate aerodynamic advantage. The garment has been engineered using a fabric that is highly breathable and sweat-wicking with lightweight dimpled aero fabrics across the back, arms and shoulders to reduce drag and increase breathability.
Minimal seams allow the fabric the freedom of movement and stretch while simultaneously reducing drag, the design also supports muscles and provides an exceptionally close fit.
The Presca Pro Range, including the Pro Skin Suit, will be exhibited at London Bike Show on March 29-31 at stand LB500.
