Now in its 15th year, the Aspire Channel Swim challenges people to swim 22 miles in 12 weeks – equivalent to the distance between England and France via the Strait of Dover – in their local pool between September 8 and December 1.
The scheme has raised £4 million for the Aspire charity, which supports people with spinal cord injuries.
