How brands can exploit the changing retail landscape

Swim brand Zoggs has been busy in-store over the last few years.

keeping abreast of changes in consumer shopping behaviour and offering consumers a more rewarding in-store brand experience is a key factor that keeps Zoggs a few strokes ahead of its rivals, according to David Annand, Zoggs’ UK Marketing & PR Manager.

Within the last week, Zoggs has installed its latest permanent display at Intersport member Clubsport, based in Hereford.

Annand says: “Our aim is to make retail outlets such as Clubsport destination shopping locations for swimwear and accessories for their local area.

“Swimming isn’t like other sports, which are seasonal.

“Swimming is an activity that takes place all through the year and therefore warrants having a permanent position, rather than being rotated from the back of the shop to the front depending on the time of year.”

Each display is unique to each outlet, as Zoggs understands a one-size-fits-all strategy isn’t the best approach for a store or the brand.

As part of the Zoggs show offer, all Intersport members placing an order for a minimum of four styles will automatically be entered into a draw to win an in-store enhancement, like Clubsport in Hereford, up to the value of £1,500.

Annand will be the guest speaker at the latest Kesslers Innovation Series on September 15 at Kesslers International, International Business Park, Stratford, London E15 2NF, where he will be talking on the subject of how brands can exploit the changing retail landscape.

The event will begin with lunch at 12.30pm.

There will also be an opportunity to tour Kesslers’ galleries, design studios and manufacturing plant.

The seminar will begin at 1.30pm.
