USA Pro’s international brand licensing drive is to be overseen by IBML, a UK-based global brand development specialist, which purchased the company in 2008.
IBML is aiming to source licensing partners for the fitness wear brand in product categories including accessories, sports equipment, shoes and performance beauty.
“The USA Pro brand has a great image, wide celebrity following and high-end cachet,” says Ben Fell, marketing manager at IBML. “The brand has huge potential in terms of national and international growth and this can be achieved in part through strategic licensing agreements with appropriate commercial partners.”
IBML currently handles the international brand licensing requirements for Lonsdale, Kangol, Karrimor, Dunlop and Slazenger.
