73 Zero Recyclable Jackets

For spring 2022 BAM is launching a further two 100% recyclable jackets into its revolutionary outerwear range: an insulated gilet and a wind resistant running jacket.

Like the 73 Zero Insulated Jacket launched last October, both items have had unique solutions built into their design to ensure they can be recycled with Project Plan B, a specialist textile recycler, using its ground-breaking fibre-to fibre technology.

73% of clothing currently ends up in landfill (EMF Make Fashion Circular Report). It can take hundreds of years for materials to decompose and, during the process, greenhouse methane gas is created and toxic chemicals are leached into the soil. This is clearly unsustainable.

BAM wants to be part of the solution – not the problem – which means taking responsibility for the whole lifecycle of its activewear. And this includes engineering clothing that is genuinely recyclable so it needs never end up in landfill.

Proof that performance wear doesn’t have to compromise the planet.
