London Designer Outlet (LDO) has announced that Fan Club will be joining its line-up this Christmas. The football gift specialist signed a short term lease for a 773 sq ft space.
Created by Calendar Club, Fan Club is dedicated to football fans from across the UK. It specialises in authentic, officially licensed merchandise from top Premier League and Scottish Premiership clubs. Each team has its own dedicated section.
Packed with hundreds of high-quality products for fans of all ages, Fan Club provides a wide selection of merchandise. This includes water bottles, keyrings, stationery sets, Christmas jumpers, branded footballs, and scarfs. It is the ideal place to find presents for football fans this festive period.
Over the past couple of years, Fan Club has grown to around 20 seasonal stores. These are located across high streets and shopping centres across the UK and Ireland. It has proved popular with shoppers, far exceeding expectations over an extended two-year trial period.
This new location at LDO will allow Fan Club to benefit from the thousands of football supporters who visit Wembley over the Christmas period. Whether that is for upcoming men’s and women’s England internationals, or for stadium and museum tours, the location is ideal.
Claire Holmes, Retail Director at Calendar Club, said: “We are really excited to be opening a Fan Club store at the home of football. Our journey over the last 2 years has seen customers excited at the opportunity to buy a large range of official club merchandise for gifts in the run up to Christmas. We thrive on sharing fans passion for football and their club and can’t wait to do this in such an iconic location.”
The short-term letting to Fan Club continues LDO’s run of leasing activity. It has seen the outlet add key international brands Gap, New Era, and Columbia to its line-up in recent weeks. The outlet continues to evolve its tenant mix to cater for its broad customer demographic.
Matt Slade, Retail Director at Quintain, said: “The introduction of Fan Club is a great addition to our line-up during the busy Black Friday and Christmas period. The brand has had huge success across the country over the past couple of years. Its wide array of products will really appeal to our unique shopper audience.
“The arrival of Fan Club, alongside the recent lettings to Gap, New Era, and Columbia, sees the continuation of our evolving retail strategy. Indeed, we aim to create an experience which allows visitors to rediscover outlet shopping.”
Managed by Multi-Realm – the UK’s specialist outlet operator – LDO offers 265,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. This includes 70 outlet stores, restaurants, and coffee shops.
