The AT/C Thermoshell HZ (pictured), which is new for autumn/winter 2016, was voted best in the performance apparel (outer layers) category and named a 2016/2017 ISPO Award gold winner.
New for spring/summer 2016, inov-8’s Race Ultra Boa running pack was an ISPO Award winner in the performance accessories category.
The double prize win means the running brand has won 10 ISPO awards in the last four years.
inov-8 founder Wayne Edy says: “To reach double figures in terms of ISPO awards and to do so in such a short space of time is a remarkable achievement and a deserved reward for our hardworking team.
“It marks the start of an exciting 2016 for inov-8, as we look ahead to the opportunities arising from being part of the Descente family.”
Japanese sportswear company Descente acquired an 80 per cent share in inov-8 last August.
The awards will be officially presented at ISPO Munich on January 24.
