Hereford-based discount retailer M and M Direct was hit by the heavy rain that affected large parts of the country last week, experiencing severe flooding in its warehouse and call centre.
But thanks to extraordinary local support and the M and M Direct team, the company was up and running again within four days.
Says Mike Tomkins, CEO of M and M Direct: “Our sensational recovery from a crisis situation was no surprise to me. The focus was on teamwork and getting the business back up and running as soon as possible. I am very proud of all of our dedicated staff – they are simply the best.”
