Target Darts has announced its official sponsorship of Dartford FC for the next two seasons. The landmark partnership brings together two brands and cultures driven by the same passion, enthusiasm and loyal fanbases and will see Target Darts become the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor for the men’s home and away kits, as well as the women’s away kit, and will also feature on the back of the women’s club tracksuits.
To celebrate the announcement, Dartford FC hosted Dutch icon and five-time World Champion, Raymond van Barneveld for a special content shoot at their home ground Princes Park, where he toured the stadium, met the squad and took part in a series of football-darts themed challenges.

Nicknamed “The Darts”, Dartford FC is gearing up for the new Isthmian Premier League season under the leadership of manager Ady Pennock, after the team finished third last season and narrowly missed promotion after a hard-fought play-off final against Dover Athletic.
Now joining Target’s prestigious roster – which features PDC World Champion Luke Littler, 16-time World Champion Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, PDC World Cup of Darts Champion Josh Rock, and 2025 Premier League stars Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Chris Dobey, and Stephen Bunting – the club is determined to build on last season’s momentum and push for promotion back to the National League South.
As part of the sponsorship, Target will support Dartford FC’s Community Programme which works closely with schools and organisations to increase sporting opportunities for children and adults, improve health and wellbeing and tackle social issues, uniting communities through the power of sport.
Throughout the season, Target will also bring the buzz, and fans can expect a range of engaging activations providing opportunities for supporters to get involved in both darts and football, while celebrating their love for Dartford FC.
James Tattersall, Managing Director at Target Darts said: “We’re incredibly proud to be sponsoring Dartford. It’s our first venture into the heart of football and there couldn’t be a more fitting partner than “The Darts”.
“The shared name made the connection feel natural, but the club’s rich tradition, spirit and strong community truly resonate with us at Target.
“We see this partnership as more than just a logo on the shirt. It’s an exciting opportunity to celebrate the shared energy of darts and football, have some fun, and create unforgettable experiences for fans throughout the season.”
Steve Irving, Chairman of Dartford FC, added: “We are delighted to welcome Target as a main sponsor of the Club over the next two seasons.
“It’s an exciting time at the club. Not only is Ady putting together a squad we hope can build on the momentum of last season, but behind the scenes there are a lot of plans being put into place that we hope can support our joint vision of where the club wants to be.
“Partnering with a progressive and innovative brand like Target is another crucial step on this journey. Can there be a more perfect partnership in non-league football?
“Not only do we share the Darts name, but we are aligned in our goals and aspirations and see this as an opportunity to celebrate the synergy between darts and football and bring a new dynamic to the club.
“We look forward to working with Target and exploring a number of unique opportunities this partnership will bring.”
The new home kits are available to pre-order online now and can be picked up from Dartford’s club shop from midday on Saturday 12th July – where the shirts will make their debut in the team’s first pre-season fixture against EFL Championship side Charlton Athletic at 3PM. The away shirt will be revealed later in July.
