Vicky Holland, Jodie Stimpson and Sky Draper, three of the UK’s most promising young female triathletes, have signed one-year extensions to their contracts covering Orca wetsuits, and race and training apparel.
Holland and Stimpson enjoyed success among the triathlon elite in 2010 with strong performances in short course racing domestically and internationally, while Draper took the national under-17 triathlon, aquathlon and duathlon titles, and ran the fastest 3km time of any under-15 athlete in the country.
“We’re delighted that Vicky, Jodie and Sky have chosen to continue to race and train in Orca,” says Orca UK sales manager Chuck Cosman.
“Last year was Vicky and Jodie’s first full season on the world championship circuit.
“They’re both looking really strong going into 2011 and hoping to build on their experience.
“Sky had an unbelievable year, essentially winning everything she entered – she has to be one of the most promising young triathletes in the world at the moment.”
Adds Cosman: “Triathlon at the elite level for women in the UK is very strong right now and we’re looking forward to supporting their quest to succeed in ITU racing and qualification for the Olympics.”
