Former England rugby star Will Greenwood (pictured) will be a brand ambassador for Canterbury of New Zealand for the rest of 2011.
Greenwood has over nine years’ experience at international rugby level and has been brought on board by Canterbury to work with the company in a variety of capacities, including global promotion of the brand.
“Will epitomises all that is good about the game of rugby and his synergy with Canterbury is uncanny,” says Chris Stephenson, Canterbury chief executive.
“As a popular and charismatic leader, he is true to the sport, exuding enthusiasm, motivation and experience at all levels.
“It is with great pleasure we welcome him to the team and we all look forward to working with him over the coming years.”
Greenwood adds: “I am delighted to be working with Canterbury and have no doubts that the partnership going forward will be successful.
