LIW and Forum Events to deliver Facilities Management Education Stream

Leisure Industry Week, the UK’s largest leisure industry trade show, and Forum Events, organisers of the Sport & Leisure Facilities Forum and the Facilities Management Forum have joined forces to deliver a world class educational programme within the Facilities Management Education Stream at LIW 2016 on 20th – 21st September 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham.

LIW 2016 will introduce for the first time six tailored Education Streams focused on Facilities Management, Health, Sports, Play, Fitness and Spa & Wet Leisure. Working with esteemed delivery partners and associations, such as Forum Events, LIW will deliver high quality educational content designed to support industry professionals in improving their business performance through attracting new audiences and reducing operational costs.

“Forum Events’ experience as organisers of the Sport & Leisure Facilities Forum and the Facilities Management Forum ensure they are ideally placed to support with the Facilities Management Education Stream through their awareness of the key issues facing Facilities Managers and those involved with the design and construction of leisure facilities,” commented Steve Orton, UK Managing Director. “It is through partnerships such as this that we will ensure LIW stays at the peak of relevance for leisure industry operators through cutting edge educational content.”

The Facilities Management Education Stream will tackle topics including: point of use sales, the importance of technology to ensure effective company infrastructures, energy efficiency, hygiene and project management for design.
