Visitor numbers up after first day of OTS 2019

The UK’s only outdoor trade exhibition – the Outdoor Trade Show – has had a hugely successful opening day, with visitor numbers up by over 20 per cent from last year.

Taking place from 9th-11th July 9-11 atEvent City, Manchester, there are still two more days of the show to go, so if you haven’t yet visited, there is still plenty of time to head on down to see what UK’s outdoor industry has to offer! You can either pre-register to save time on queuing at the front desk, or register on the door if you prefer.

This year OTS has 131 companies exhibiting, presenting you with the opportunity to see thousands of quality products from backpacks through to clothing, footwear and accessories in a one stop shop – plus many new 2020 launches!

Earlier in the day a plogging event took place from the Nikwax stand, with a short jog around the outside of the venue, collecting litter to raise awareness of the problem.

After a busy first day of doing business, both exhibitors and visitors took the opportunity to wind down and relax while enjoying refreshments provided by exhibitors – including a Gin & Whisky tasting session! – and listening to music from local band ‘Late Last Night’.

During the evening brand ambassador for On and record breaking ‘round the world’ cyclist, Mark Beaumont entertained with stories about his adventures and Buffalo celebrated their 40th anniversary with refreshments and a slideshow showcasing the best of Buffalo Systems over the last 40 years.
