‘ASICS to launch 2016 campaign’
ASICS 2016 collections inspiring people to get more from their activities
True sport performance brand ASICS is launching their SS16 collection that will look to inspire runners and athletes to get more from their sports. The new season collection includes several new technologies and upgrades in favourite models as ASICS competes to stay at the top of the game in running whilst also continuing to grow in other key sports.
Throughout 2015 ASICS has continued to promote their Mix Up Your Run philosophy, and this continues in 2016. The philosophy is aimed at getting the best performance for any athlete achieving their goals, working with different types of footwear and environments to keep activities fresh and exciting. The different terrains and distances work a variety of muscles in order to get the best out of the end goal. For 2016 ASICS has reworked several key styles to meet the rising demands of runners in this area.
For the long distance road running, ASICS have upgraded the Gel set up in its styles to create a smoother shift from heel contact to guidance line. This is brought into the 4th generation of the popular GT-2000 series. The GT-2000 4 also comes with an improved seamless upper for added comfort. For the Neutral runners the Gel-Kinsei returns in the 6th generation model. This version also has improved comfort with the FluidRide 2.0 technology and an adaptive clutch counter. The new styles in ASICS Run Long category will help runners adapt to the surface and those longer distance runs.
During marathon training runners are supposed to look at shorter speed runs alongside the longer endurance runs, so for this ASICS has updated several of their Run Fast shoes. The DS TRAINER 21 and the GEL-NOOSA TRI will be reduced in weight with a lightweight seamless upper and super solyte midsole. The DS RACER 11 is also upgraded with a propulsion trusstic plate.
For off road, trail running, the FUJIRUNNEGADE in the Run Tough series have also been upgraded to include the new technology of PlasmaGuard. PlasmaGuard makes this shoe resistant to rain and mud, while maintaining its outstanding breathability, flexibility and lightweight. Additionally, the GEL-FUJIATTACK 5 is remastered to be more lightweight and improved protection with a toe bumper.
ASICS is continuing to improve the quality and variety of apparel available to runners. As the nights have drawn in, the LITE-SHOW APPAREL has been upgraded with new designs in jackets, shorts and tights. The reflective technology keeps runners visible during the night training whilst keeping the items fashionable. Safety is a prime focus for ASICS when designing apparel, as it protection against the elements. Water resistant technology and breathability on the new season clothing helps keep runners warm and dry on the different variety of runs.
ASICS is also looking to increase their presence in the Training category, and this can be seen with the launch of new footwear and apparel. There is a correlation between those in Fitness Training and those Running, with 71% combing the pair, so ASICS naturally can use the expertise to help those in Training to get the most out of their performance.
