The new Samurai Sportswear retail range is breaking all records for the Norfolk-based business after its launch last week. The range, the company’s first direct entry into the market for more than five years, has received positive feedback from retailers and smashed company sales targets.
Included within the range is a platinum collection of garments designed specifically for the retail market, along with a revamped core collection and the hugely popular licenced replica products Samurai produces.
The platinum collection has been inspired by the desire to equip aspiring and established athletes equally, with each garment developed to offer optimum performance whether on the field, in the gym or in everyday life. The collection also includes a dedicated female range created to provide empowerment through great design.
All the garments have been designed to offer a comfortable, fitted feel with an injection of colourful vibrancy. While the on-trend colour options are a departure from Samurai’s traditional range of colours and with the women’s Angel Racer Vest in black/raspberry already setting single item records for orders within seven days of being available, there is no doubt the collections have sparked interest from both long-term retail partners and new independent retailers.
As you would expect from Samurai, all the collections are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are created from Samurai’s very own fabric range – Performex. The fabrics offer the benefits of being light weight, highly durable and having thermal stability, along with UV protection and anti-bacterial functions. Each garment has been developed in such fabrics to offer the highest levels of quality, comfort and performance.
Speaking of the launch, Samurai’s new retail sales manager, Nick Smith, says: “The collections have been incredibly well received.
